I am a resident of Blackfoot, how much will my library card cost?
NOTHING…hurry up and get one so you can check out materials!
My friend doesn’t have a library card, can I let her use mine?
Nope! That is against our library policy. Help her get her own library card…everyone should have one:). Library cards are the responsibility of the cardholder. All items checked out on a card are the responsibility of the owner.

Can I send my friend to the library with my card to check out materials for me?
Again, no. Library policy states that the card owner must be present to check out materials.
Can somebody, other than me, pick up materials I have checked out or that are on hold?
Yes, BUT you must first fill out a form (available at the library) giving that person permission to do so. ***Be aware that this form must be updated every 6 months.***
What should I do if my library card is lost or stolen?
Please call the library right away so we can cancel the card and prevent others from using your account.
How much does a replacement card cost?
A replacement card costs $2.00.
